Yam Fun Facts

Yam are NOT sweet potatoes. They belong to a different plant family. Yams grow as vines and their tubers can grow up to 4.9 feet in length and and weight up to 154 pounds! They are highly regarded for their size, texture, delicious flavor, and cultural value.
