I am an EFNEP Nutrition Educator serving the North Central O‘ahu area. I love helping and empowering families to live healthier, more active lives. Sharing knowledge while celebrating our unique local culture in Hawai‘i is meaningful to me. I’m passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle through food and physical activity. Seeing the impact of nutrition education motivates me every day. Together, we’re building stronger communities through practical learning.

I’m a Youth Nutrition Educator with EFNEP and I find my work meaningful for so many reasons. As a people-person, meeting and getting to know people brings me joy. I enjoy the challenge of learning about their needs and creating a class that supports each participant. As a parent, I’m personally invested in finding ways to save money while feeding my family well, so I love that my job encourages me on that journey. It’s rewarding to see our students learn about how to improve their food and wellness choices every day.

I am an EFNEP Nutrition Educator in the West Honolulu area. I’ve always wanted to pursue a career in nutrition, and after switching my major from dietetics to kinesiology, life presented me with a pleasant surprise, and I’m more than thrilled to be working here at the Hawaii Nutrition Center. I enjoy being physically active and I’m excited to couple that with my love for food in order to inspire others to live an active and healthier lifestyle.

I also love meeting new people in our communities through my classes. It brings me great joy to share information about health, fitness, and wellness!

I’m part of the EFNEP program. As a Nutrition Educator, I will be servicing the East side of Oʻahu Island. I am new to Hawaiʻi and  was thrilled to find this job the first day I moved here. I was almost too tired to answer the ad! I'm so glad I did because this job has two components of equal importance:  community involvement in the form of speaking and training, as well as the focus on diet and nutrition. It’s the perfect job. I'm glad to be here.

I’m an EFNEP Nutrition Educator in Honolulu. I first began my own educational journey with nutrition and fitness many years ago. This work is a chance to share what I’ve learned and help guide others toward decisions that will benefit their health. I’m passionate about uplifting our community through accessible nutrition education and making the nutrition landscape easy to navigate. It’s especially meaningful to see participants extend what they’ve learned to their families—creating healthy foundations for the future.
