Due to federal funding cuts, SNAP-Ed has been defunded nationwide as of 9/30/25. "Food to Grow" has been discontinued.
Thank you for your participation. Look for "Food to Grow with EBT" at grocery stores!

Food to Grow

UH Food to Grow offers free vegetable seedling kits and resources to low-income populations to increase their access to healthy foods and improve vegetable intake by encouraging recipients to start their own produce gardens at home. Seedling kits include a vegetable seedling in a paper pot (see video directions), extra seeds, and a pamphlet which provides information on SNAP benefits, detailed  growing directions, and a tasty local recipe!
