Marinade

Vietnamese fish sauce

shoyu (soy sauce)

basil, chopped

1 cup nuoc mam (Vietnamese dipping sauce)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ingredients for the marinade.
Slice the pork into 2 inch cubes and marinate in the sauce for 15 minutes.
Soak vermicelli in warm water for 5-10 minutes or until soft.
Drain and set aside.
Arrange the pork cubes onto skewers and grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Lay the lettuce leaves on a plate. Place the vermicelli on top of the lettuce leaves.
Serve the pork skewers with the vermicelli salad and garnish with basil, mint and peanuts.
Serve with nuoc mam dipping sauce.
